C.R.A.B.A.H: Circular Route and Barely a Hill! This is a 25 mile loop around Taunton, out through Nailsbourne, Fitzroy, Allerford, Bradford on Tone, West Buckland, Trull for a coffee at The Hive, Orchard Portman and home, with hardly a hill to worry about! Ladies ride 3rd August Please note earlier start time.   A leisurely 20 mile ride to Taart, a tea room in North Petherton.  Going via West Monkton and Thurloxton and back via North Newton and Creech Heathfield.   A bit hilly going out but mostly undulating on the return.   Leave the brewhouse at 09.30.  Back about 14.00.       Ride leader: Hester.

A relatively flat 33 mile ride out to Middlezoy and the Levels Country Kitchen for refreshments. Out via 13 Bends, North Curry and Stathe and returning via Athelney. This is the route of the  cancelled Weir Ride. No point forecasting the weather but it has to be better than Tuesday. Ride Leader: Pete W

Ride out through Ham, 13 bends, North Curry & Stathe and returning via Athelney and the route out. The weather is likely to be hot so pile on the suncream, loose clothing, bring plenty of water and the usual kit. Cancelled due rain. Meet for coffee instead C.O.A.C.H. are heading out through Bishops Hull in a westerly direction. Forecast, at the moment is for rain, so depending on the weather we will see how far we go. Columbus has already discovered America so we'll give that a miss. Riding at a leisurely pace, in good company and with a spare inner tube, water bottle, Jelly Babies, if needed, and pocket monet for coffee and cake. MEET AT VIVARY PARK BANDSTAND. 10am SATURDAY JULY 27TH The route out goes via Curland, Horton Return via North Curry, Knapp, Creech St Michael The central section is quite undulating, (ie. Hilly!) 40 miles: 1700 feet (500m) of climbing   Leader: Martin - My home number is 01823 252332   PS: When I reccied the ride I was served the biggest ploughman’s in the solar system.

This is an "ad hic" ride but you will need to register. We will leave Taunton at 6.00pm for the shortish ride to The Quantock Brewery opposite the West Somerset Railway in Bishops Lydeard. There we can sample a few of the fine ales on offer. Street food is also available on site. I aim to set off back to Taunton at around 8.45pm while it is hopefully still light. This is a 35 mile ride to the Arts centre at Ilminster, going via Stke St Mary, Curland, Five Dials, and returning via Ilton, Curry Mallet and Noorth Curry. Weather is expected to be dry and warm. Please bring drink,snack, and spare tube.   Leader Charles
