A relatively flat 33 mile ride out to Middlezoy (again!) and the Country Kitchen (well it is good) for refreshments. Ride out through Ham, 13 bends, North Curry & Stathe and returning via Athelney and the route out. The weather is likely to be hot so pile on the suncream, loose clothing, bring plenty of water and the usual kit. DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER RIDE MAY BE SHORTENED TO COMMUNITY CAFE, NORTH CURRY OR A SOCIAL AT THE WEIR CAFE. Ride Leader: Pete W

Cancelled due rain. Meet for coffee instead C.O.A.C.H. are heading out through Bishops Hull in a westerly direction. Forecast, at the moment is for rain, so depending on the weather we will see how far we go. Columbus has already discovered America so we'll give that a miss. Riding at a leisurely pace, in good company and with a spare inner tube, water bottle, Jelly Babies, if needed, and pocket monet for coffee and cake. Please encourage your friends to join. Annual "ad hic" ride to Quantock Brewery Beer Festival

This is an "ad hic" ride but you will need to register. We will leave Taunton at 6.00pm for the shortish ride to The Quantock Brewery opposite the West Somerset Railway in Bishops Lydeard. There we can sample a few of the fine ales on offer. Street food is also available on site. I aim to set off back to Taunton at around 8.45pm while it is hopefully still light. But please bring lights and a spare tube, just in case. Weather forecast is overcast with temp. of around 18 degrees C. Ride organiser Ian B.

This is a 35 mile ride to the Arts centre at Ilminster, going via Stke St Mary, Curland, Five Dials, and returning via Ilton, Curry Mallet and Noorth Curry. Weather is expected to be dry and warm. Please bring drink,snack, and spare tube.   Leader Charles

White Post Potter: This will be a 25-30 mile round trip out through Bishops Hull, Oake, Nynehead, to Langford Budville and our coffee stop at the White Post Cafe (Sorry Peter, I had already told too many people to change it!) On the return leg we go through Rockwell Green around the foothills of the Blackdowns and into to Taunton via Trull etc. This is a shortish ride and the weather is promising to be very hot...so lots of drinks and the usual support materials required for a safe journey. Philipa has kindly invited us to her house again for this annual event. As before there will be a ride there from Taunton, please say in the ticket section if you are riding or will go by car. The ride will start at the Brewhouse at 11:00 and depending on numbers may be split into a number of groups. If you are travelling directly please aim to arrive at 12:30. If you are riding and also providing some food please contact Arthur or me (David) to organise transport for the food. (07860 362794 or 07717 584256) There will be a charge of £5 per person, which will contribute to the cost of food and drink, the remainder will be met from club funds. As before we will need roasted veg, peppers/aubergine, salads and sweets/deserts to be donated. Please tick the box in the ticketing section when you register, and let Arthur know what you are providing email link, this to avoid too much of the same and ensure variety. There will be a charity bring and buy cyclejumble so please bring along any unwanted cycle related items and some cash to pay for that thingamejig you just can't resist that someone else didn't need any longer! If you request a vegetarian burger option please be aware that we can't guarantee it won't have contact with meat products. TO AVOID WASTE Please, if possible, unbreakable plate + unbreakable mug/cup which we ask you to take home afterwards. You will be able to rinse these before taking them with you! Disposable items will be available if you can't bring these. BOOK BY 10 pm on Wed 17th.
