White Post Potter: This will be a 25-30 mile round trip out through Bishops Hull, Oake, Nynehead, to Langford Budville and our coffee stop at the White Post Cafe (Sorry Peter, I had already told too many people to change it!) On the return leg we go through Rockwell Green around the foothills of the Blackdowns and into to Taunton via Trull etc. This is a shortish ride and the weather is promising to be very hot...so lots of drinks and the usual support materials required for a safe journey. Philipa has kindly invited us to her house again for this annual event. As before there will be a ride there from Taunton, please say in the ticket section if you are riding or will go by car. The ride will start at the Brewhouse at 11:00 and depending on numbers may be split into a number of groups. If you are travelling directly please aim to arrive at 12:30. If you are riding and also providing some food please contact Arthur or me (David) to organise transport for the food. (07860 362794 or 07717 584256) There will be a charge of £5 per person, which will contribute to the cost of food and drink, the remainder will be met from club funds. As before we will need roasted veg, peppers/aubergine, salads and sweets/deserts to be donated. Please tick the box in the ticketing section when you register, and let Arthur know what you are providing email link, this to avoid too much of the same and ensure variety. There will be a charity bring and buy cyclejumble so please bring along any unwanted cycle related items and some cash to pay for that thingamejig you just can't resist that someone else didn't need any longer! If you request a vegetarian burger option please be aware that we can't guarantee it won't have contact with meat products. TO AVOID WASTE Please, if possible, unbreakable plate + unbreakable mug/cup which we ask you to take home afterwards. You will be able to rinse these before taking them with you! 27 miles undulating ride to Bridgewater to the YMCA. Start 9.30 at Vivary Park bandstand. Weather, showers likely so waterproof needed. Don't forget spare inner tube.   Ride leader: Jill.

Meeting at The Brewhouse at 10 am and return by around 3 pm. We are leading a leisurely ride to YMCA at Bridgwater via Creech St Michael, North Newton and North Petherton. After refreshments at the YMCA we will ride the short distance to see the new Bridgwater branch of "On your Bike", to show our support on their opening day. The return will be quite hilly via Durleigh, N.Petheton, Thurloxton, West Monkton, back to the Swingbridge at Bathpool and down the canal and back into Taunton. The weather forecast is good, warm and dry with temp. around 19 deg.C, though cloudy. Deli Cious Ride: This a 40 mile ride out through Stoke, Broadway, Horton, Kingstone, Dinnington, up the old Roman Road and on to South Petherton for coffee. On the return journey we go through East Lambrook, Hambridge, Isle Brewers, Curry Mallet and home via North Curry. The weather promises to be good with temperatures varying between 19 and 23 degrees. Exe Estuary Trail The ride will be from Exmouth to Exeter, via the Starcross ferry, returning on the opposite side after lunch at Exeter Quay. Numbers unfortunately will  have to be limited as the ferry can only take 12 bikes and we may have to go in 2 groups as there will be other people wanting to cross too.
