A ride out to YMCA Bridgwater for lunch
The Brewhouse Theatre & Arts Centre
10:00 – 14:30
Approx 33 miles. The route takes in Creech St Michael, Burrowbridge, Northmoor Green, Bridgwater.
Return via North Petherton, North Newton and Creech Heathfield.
All the usuals, appropriate clothing, water/refreshments and spare inner tube, please.

Seavington Salvo: This is a 38 mile, reverse, round trip heading out toward your favourite hill at Stoke St Mary, Slough Green, Bickenhall, Broadway, Horton, Kingstone to Seavington St Mary for coffee at the community cafe. On the return we head for Hurcott, Stocklinch, Ilford, Isle Abbotts, Curry Mallet, Rock Hill, North Curry, Thirteen Bends and home. The forecast suggests a 20% chance of rain. All the ususal in terms of drinks, clothing and spare tubes.

Riding out to Willowbrook Garden Centre via Corkscrew Lane, Nailsbourne, Fitzroy, Norton Fitzwarren (we could do this short bit on the morning before the Xmas lunch), Allerford, Hillfarance, Bradford on Tone, West Biuckland to Willowbrook. Back via Dipford, Comeytrowe and Galmington. Bring along the usual water, spare inner tube and a snack if needed. Any problems and you can email me through the link in my name below.

Midweek Ride - The Willowbrook Wiggle.
The Brewhouse Theatre & Arts Centre

Well we can still dream it's summer! This will be a shortish ride of around 15 miles to The Willowbrook Nursery Tearoom near Wellington. Weather is predicted as cloudy with possibility of showers and temp. high of 13 degrees C. The route will be mainly undulating so should not be too challenging. Remember to bring waterproofs, warm clothing, spare tube, drink and a snack (just in case the cream tea is not enough).

Stawley Stagger: This is a 30 mile circular route heading out through Bishops Hull, Oake, Langford Budville, Appley to arrive at the Stawley Village Stores for coffee. On return we head for Greenham, Chitterwell, Holywell Lake, Tonedale, East Nynehead, Bradford on Tone and home. It is a fairly hilly route with some spectacular views. The weather looks promising so the sunscreen is an item to pack alongside all the usual elements to support your ride.

A leisurely ride out to Langport - a there and back ride unless anyone is confident of the route back via Muchenley etc.
Approx 33 miles, via 13 bends, North Curry, Stathe. Not very hilly.

This is a reasonbly flat ride out to Langport via Thirteen bends aNorth Curry and Stathe. Returning via Drayton, Hambridge, Curry Mallet and Rock Hill. Distance approx 35 miles. weather is set fair sunshine shaeds as well as usual support items.

Corinne & Richard are leading us out to explore the area around Cossington. 23 miles with height gain of 666ft taking in coffee stop at the Avalon Marshes Centre which is an outside venue but also has 20+ seats within the craft centre. Cossington, Edington, Shapwick, Meare , Westhay, Avalon Marshes (coffee), back to Westhay, past Sweets cafe, left across no mans land , back up to Chilten Polden and Cossington. Meeting at 10.00 a.m. at RM Smith Playing Fields, TA7 8LF. From A39 take the B3141 towards Woolavington, take first right towards Cossington. After half a mile Cossington Lane becomes Brent Road. Look out for Polden Hills Vet Centre on the left and the car park is opposite in RM Smith Playing Fields. Bring the usual water and inner tube. Minstermonster: This is a 30 mile round trip to Ilminster Arts Centre. We leave from Vivary Park Bandstand (Lynn and Arthur!) and head out through Stoke St Mary, Curland, Horton and on to Ilminster Arts Centre for coffee. On return we head for Whitelackington, cut down to Stocklinch, Puckington, Curry Mallet, Helland, North Curry, Thirteen Bends and home. The weather looks promising...sunscreen and shades as well as the usual support items!
