C.O.A.C.H. Caroloke to Trull (2nd attempt)
French Weir Park
09:30 – 13:00
A second attempt for the Caroloke. Again depending on the weather we can make the ride shorter or longer but aiming for coffee at The Hive, Trull. As well as wearing plenty of appropriate clothes for the cold and a possible shower, water and spare inner tube, don't forget to bring along at least one verse of your favourite carol or Christmas song. Barbara B has been in reheasals for two weeks now so should be able to accompany all choices. Any problems and you can contact me by email through the link in my name below. My phone number, for future reference whilst on a ride, is 07962033534.

Thursday Midweek Ride
Brewhouse Theatre & Arts Centre
09:30 – 14:00
Polling Day Potter: It is a rule, you cannot ride a bicycle into a Polling Station but you can ride to Middlezoy on Thursday and share your inclination with friends as you enjoy a coffee and a snack! This is a twenty-five mile circular ride heading out through Creech St Michael, North Curry, Burrowbridge and a stop at The Levels Cafe (Middlezoy Spa). On return we head for Huntworth, North Petherton, North Newton, Creech and home. At the moment the weather is looking better for some voters than others (If we need to we'll make a decision on the day), so come prepared for all eventualities!

C.O.A.C.H. Caroloke to Trull CANCELLED
French Weir Park
09:30 – 13:00
Having consulted a variety of weather apps and due to their forecast for heavy rain and strong winds I am sadly cancelling this Tuesday's ride. I don't want to risk spoiling anyone's Christmas with a fall and accident. Fingers crossed we can fit one in next week before Christmas. Should the weather improve and you feel adventurous the Weir group may be venturing out. Any issues and you can email me through the link in my name below.

One up the Sleeve Ride: The weather is promising to be poor for Tuesday so the planned ride is shelved and we will do a local loop... a mystery tour to a cafe of your liking! If it is pouring down we will adjourn to the cafe where we meet and talk about cycling!

C.O.A.C.H. Christmas Lunch
Bridgwater & Taunton College
12:30 – 14:30
I went along to the Quantock Restaurant at the college today and the only Tuesday they could do a lunch for a large group (hopefully The Weir group will join us) is 3rd December. It would be best to try and book this date sooner rather than later as they are filling up. If you could sign up (ASAP) in the usual way as for rides I will get an idea of numbers and I think it is probably easier to reduced our numbers later than ask to increase if people change their mind. Four choices for starters, mains and desserts. The usual Christmas fare plus vegetarian options. 1 course £9, 2 courses £14 and 3 courses £19. Full menu online and I'll bring a copy to our next rides. Book early to avoid disappointment. You can contact me through the email link in my name below if you have any questions.

If you have already spotted this on the COACH event and confirmed already don't duplicate by replying to this. Pete and I will do the rest.Four choices for starters, mains and desserts. The usual Christmas fare plus a vegetarian option. One course £9, 2 courses £14 and 3 courses for £19. Full menu on line and a copy available at our next ride.

C.O.A.C.H. Ride before Christmas Lunch
French Weir Park
09:30 – 12:15
A shorter ride before we sit down for our Christmas lunch at the Quantock Restaurant at 12.30. The usual 9.30 start and then out through Corkscrew Lane, Nailsbourne, Fitzroy to Norton Fitzwarren Community Hall for coffee. It's only a short ride back then via Great Western Way and Silk Mills Road to the College for lunch. No rides confirmed yet for the following weeks so have a think about where we should go and if you would like to lead a ride. For those not cycling I look forward to seeing you at the lunch. Any problems and you can email me through the link in my name below.

The Quirky Turkey Ride: A cold coming we have of it, just the best time of the year, for a journey, and such a short journey! Looking forward to meeting up with those of you who fancy a little ride before our Christmas Lunch at the Quantock Restaurant, Bridgwater and Taunton College, 12.30. The ride is a 20 mile round trip with a short stop at the Trull Community Cafe for a mince pie if you fancy one. The weather is promising, dry and crisp ( and deep and even). All the meal choices are safely gathered in and a welcome guaranteed.
