C.O.A.C.H. Riding Postponed for now
09:00 – 11:00
Dear C.O.A.C.H. group. For the time being there will be no rides posted but the weather for the next few days looks fine so keep fit and enjoy a ride or two with a partner or friend keeping to the club guidance. With cafes closed don't forget to take water, a snack and possibly a hot drink with you. Don't feel isolated and keep in touch through the WhatsApp group with news, comments and photos of trips out. The Afternoon Tea for the end of April looks unlikely unless the college reopens but I'll keep you notified .
Take care

Dear All
There will be no more organised "Weir" rides until further notice. Please take care and follow all the guidance relating to the pandemic. Hopefully you will still be able to ride your bike, unless in an identified group, but remember to keep it to you and a friend whilst observing social distancing advice. Pete Hanratty and I hope to put out a newsletter early in April with any updates. Stay safe.

C.O.A.C.H.Ride to the White Post
French Weir Park
09:30 – 13:00
Tony will lead the ride to The White Post Cafe in Langford Budville. A pleasant ride through country lanes with just that hint of an 'incline' as we approach Langford Budville! The weather forecast at the moment seems fine but keep an eye on things and dress accordingly. Don't forget to bring water & a spare inner tube. You can email me through the link in my name below if you wish to.

Broadway Bells: At the moment the intention is to ride until we get advice to the contrary. The boys and girls of the Molteni Team (Above) suggest no more than twenty-one cyclists in any cycling group and the usual advice about self-isolation applies...especially if you have a flat tyre. We are off to Broadway, out through Creech, Thirteen Bends, Hatch Beauchamp, Ashill and on to the Bell Inn at Broadway for a coffee and whatever they conjure up for us to eat. On return we head back along The Drove, down Stoke St Mary Hill and home (27 Miles and a couple of undulations but nothing too steep). Water, Waterproofs, Tubes and Snacks.

Short Flat Daisy: Thanks for those of you who have been in touch with your request for this week's ride. This is a shortish, flattish ride to the Daisy in Bishop's Lydeard, encompassing few hills and mostly flat terrain. We are off out through the short, flat route to Oake and then on to Halse, flattish to Ash Priors and then a short-flatout cruise into Bishop's Lydeard where we will stop for a Short, Flat White, Coffee and a piece of Shortbread at the Daisy. After a short break we return via the mostly flat route to Kingston and home. The weather is still a little variable so this route provides us an escape plan if there is a short, sharp, shower or a flat-out downpour. All the usual advice about flat tyres and kit applies!
