Joanne will lead us to the Willows & Wetlands Centre, out through Creech St Michael, up 13 Bends, North Curry, Meare Green going along to Stathe before curving round to get back to the Willows & Wetlands Centre for coffee. The weather forecast at the moment is that it will be warmer but with possible showers. Dress accordingly and bring along water and a spare inner tube. Midweek Ride - The Smokey Loop Hambridge
The Brewhouse Theatre & Arts Centre

Midweek ride,The Smokey Loop Hambridge *Now starting at The Brewhouse Theatre. This will be a leisurely ride of around 32 miles to the Brown & Forrest Smokery and Restaurant Hambridge, where we will pause for a light lunch. The route out will be via Stoke St. Mary, Hatch Beauchamp, Curry Mallet, Fivehead, Isle Brewers and on to Hambridge arriving just after midday. The return route back will be via Curry Rivel, Oath, Stathe, North Curry, 13 Bends, Creech St. Michael and back to Taunton by around 3.15pm. Weather is likely to be breezy and possibility of showers with high of 7 degrees C. So bring usual warm and waterproof clothing, spare tube, water and a snack. Arts Centre Canter: We'll meet at Vivary Park for a trip out to Ilminster for a coffee at the Arts Centre, passing through Stoke (and up the hill!), over the top and along the drove passing Broadway, round the back of the old railway line into Ilminster for coffee. On return we head back toward Stocklinch, Puckington, Isle Abbotts, Curry Mallet, Rock Hill and home (30 miles and, apart from Stoke, no significant hills). The weather promises to be a bit variable but will start brightly and any rain will find us close to home. All your bits and piecessafely stowed. Ride Leader: Paul Harper

Roger is leading the group to Hestercombe via Creech Heathfield and Thurloxton. Dress for whatever the weather gives us and don't forget your spare inner tube and water. Fyne Ride: Because of the uncertainty of the weather, this is a 20+ mile ride out through Creech St Michael, Thurloxton and up the back way to Fyne Court for Coffee. On return we go over the brow of the Seven Sisters Hill, come down to Cothelstone, Cushuish and gradually work our way back through the lanes to home. All the usual guidance about spare tubes, waterproofs and something to drink apply. Ride Leader: Paul Harper

A ride out from VIVARY PARK BANDSTAND to Skittles Community Cafe in Norton Fitzwarren via Stoke St Mary, Ortchard Portman, Trull, West Buckland and Bradford on Tone to Norton Fitzwarren. This has the option of a shorter ride to Trull or Willowbrook should the weather turn nasty or if some would prefer a shorter ride. Again from Norton we have a choice of routes home depending on the wishes of the peloton, via either Fitzroy and Nailsbourne, Bishops Hull or Silk Mills Road. Remember to bring your water, spare inner tube and that we are starting from VIVARY PARK BANDSTAND. You can contact me via the email link in my name below or via the WhatsApp group. We exercise our muscles weekly on our bikes. Here is a chance to exercise the grey matter. This should be right up our street, with the wide variety of conversations and discussions we have on our rides. If you would like to be in a team please sign up. If you wish to come along just to socialise it is not necessary, just turn up. There is a bar serving both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and light snacks. Like our bike rides, it should be a bit of fun. Details below - £4pp. Teams of up to 4. Doors 7.30pm. Starts 8pm. PARKING & START (leaving 09.45 from Hawkridge Reservoir Parking/Layby, Lawyers Hill, Spaxton).  (Access from Taunton via Kingston St Mary, Buncombe Hill, down Three Horseshoes Hill (LHS of Pines Cafe) via  Lower Aisholt & TR onto Lawyers Hill  to reservoir). ROUTE A circular route passing through Spaxton,  Cannington, Combwich, Stockland Bristol, Stogursey and Nether Stowey to Paisley Farm shop/cafe. Return to cars via Plainsfield. REFRESHMENTS  We aim to arrive at Paisley Farm shop/cafe  c11.30  to 11.45 with options for lunch or coffee/cake. NOTE  We will be using short stretches of the A39 and the Hinkley Road which can be busy. Visibility is good on these stretches, but we will need to divide the group depending on numbers. At one point it will be necessary to dismount  to walk across the A39 to a cycle track opposite. Welly Wobble: This is a ride to Braziers via the hills beyond Wellington. It is a hilly ride out to Langford Budville, Wellesford, Higher Greenham, Holywell and Tonedale for a coffee. On return we visit Nynehead to Bradford-on-Tone, Bishop's Hull and home (32 Miles). The weather is promising to be variable less than 20% chance of rain early more likely later! Don't forget to check your bike you leave and make sure you have a spare inner tube that fits your wheel size! Ride Leader: Hazel
