The weather forecast looks okay for Thursday at the moment; Sunny Intervals and a moderate breeze, riding out through Cheddon Fitz P, Enmore, a bit hilly, Spaxton, Charlynch to Blackmore Farm Shop for a lite lunch and then back via Wembdon, Chilton Trinity, Bridgy Quay and all a quite flat as we head back towards Taunton. 34 miles, the usual stuff; spare inner tube, water..................... Forward for Feast: This will be a 30 mile route out through Stoke St Mary, Curland, Horton, Ilminster then stopping at Feast for coffee and cakes. On return we will head for Ilton, Fivehead, Rock Hill, North Curry, 13 Bends and home. The weather promises to be good. Bring the usual (and unusual if you like!) stuff to be on the safe side. We are starting a new series of leisurely rides. Over the next 6-12 months we hope to increase the distance cycled from 4 miles to 20 miles. Please encourage your friends to join. The ride will go to Perrys Cider Mill where we will be able to sample a variety of ciders.   Starting at the  Brewhouse the ride will pass  North Curry, go up Rock  Hill and get to Dowlish Wake for lunch.   The return trip will be via Horton and Bickenhall.   Distance 35 to 40 miles .   Leader: Trevor

On the first Wednesday of each month Cycle Somerset has an evening meeting to discuss rides/ socials/ topical issues. We have met in a village pub but are now meeting at a more central venue. The meeting will be upstairs at The HUBBOX (opposite Debenhams) Topics include: Celebrating 100 membership Email invites for rides Please come and share your views. Barbara is leading C.O.A.C.H. to Daisy's in Bishops Lydeard and back via Ash Priors, Bradford on Tone & Bishop's Hull.
