We are starting a series of rides for people who are returning to cycling. The pace is gentle and we keep to quieter routes in and around Taunton. You should be able to ride 2 miles to participate.  To register for these rides please register on this website  1st ride is free. Then £10 membership due. Voluntary donation £2 towards promoting cycling. Please bring drink water, small snack and spare inner tube. Warm layers, gloves and a waterproof are advisable. (These rides are seperate from the usual club  'mid week rides' and are to support people getting back on their bikes)

Meet at the Brewhouse for an undulating 20 mile ride to Willowbrook Garden Centre Cafe. All ladies welcome even if you are not a member yet.

Midweek ride to Perry's cider Farm Starting from the bandstand in Vivary Park this is an anticlockwise route to Dowlish Wake stopping at Perry's Cider Farm for Coffee/Lunch. An undulating 35 mile ride. route Vivary Park to Perry's Cider Farm

It's time we all got our bikes ready for the 2018 riding season! So we need to be thinking about brake blocks/ pads and cables, chains, cassettes and gear cables, tyres, and anything else that can move or go out of adjustment. To help with this we're having a maintenance day. Please have a look at your bike, and if you can see that there's something (e.g. a worn out tyre) that needs doing get in touch - if you know what's needed buy it and we can get it to Grahams for you, or if you ask really nicely someone may buy it ready for you!!! We hope to have several pairs of experienced eyes to take a look over bikes and help put right anything that needs doing for the new season. Contact: graham.farrington@btopenworld.com Stephen will lead a ride from the Brewhouse starting at 10:00, if you're going independently please aim to be at Graham's house at about 11:00. Not sure yet what Stephen is planningg but all being well he'll have something planned for the way back. Please respond if you're coming so that Graham knows numbers. LUNCH Being a Saturday the Willows and Wetlands centre is open so we'll go there for lunch.  

TACC are meeting Rebecca Pow at 4:30 PM on Friday to hand her the petition regarding the A358, at her office, at the Masons Arms beside the rear of the Perkin Warbeck. This is a plea for some cyclists to attend as we are short in numbers for a photo. At present only Ian's going to be there.

Has to be another ad hoc ride as I have lots to do after my holiday and family are still staying. Hopefully back to normal next week ........ Have a good one :-)
