The Daisy Dawdle: This is a familiar but favourite ride out to Bishops Lydeard for a coffee stop at the Daisy Cafe, the reverse route through Bishops Hull, via Halse Ash Common and returning via Kingston. We are relying on the weather, it will be hot, so the usual rules apply. Apologies for a lack of info last week, but a foreign posting and unreliable Wi-Fi, due to Brexit negotiations, prevented it! N.B. Please brng your own picnic lunch to this ride.   Starting at 10.30 at the bandstand in Vivary Park. We will wend our way through the beautiful country lanes of Somerset as we head towards the distant Blackdowns. It will be quite hilly in places with one storker of a climb. However, once we gain the summit it will be more or less downhill till we reach the lunch stop in Tim's garden. Here the riders will consume their own picnic they have brought with them and this will then be followed by strawberries and cream. The return trip to Taunton will be short and simple. Total mileage approx 28. Returning to Taunton at 3pm.   Leader Tim S

The White Post Wobble: A ride up to take advantage of the newly refurbished facilities at The White Post. This is a 25 mile ride (honest) with a few manageable hills as part of a scenic circular route, passing through Oake, Nynehead, and returning via milverton and Halse.  The weather is predicted to be warm with a chance of the odd light shower (a bit like the group), so come prepared. It's worth remembering that a spare tube, water and a small snack can be helpful.
