63 miles undulating.  Approx 12mph average speed.   We will be stopping for lunch (probably the Canal Centre North Newton) and  then an afternoon coffee (Bishops Lydeard), we will however be aiming to average 12mph so it will be a faster than a normal Cycle Somerset ride. The ride is 63 miles and has some undulations so is relatively challenging.   A lot of it will be on the Taunton Trail. Given the distance and the speed it should be suitable for those that feel the normal CS rides are not quite challenging enough (too slow and or not quite far enough).  No need to sign up for the ride just turn up at COACH for a 9am START.   Ride leader - Ross.  

Ride over Somerset Levels to Pitney Farm Shop and Café. Bring your panniers to take home some goodies. 40 miles. Langport Loop This is a leisurely ride to Langport and back with a stop for coffee. No challenges in terms of hills (but we all love 13 Bends, don't we?) but a thoroughly pleasant ride across the levels. Ride Leader: Joanne
