White Post Potter:
The White Post has reopened and, as it is our cafe of the year, and the weather promises to be good, we thought we'd give it a spin! Depending on road works, out through Bishops Hull (or alternative route) to Oak, Nynehead and through Langford Budville for a coffee at the White Post Cafe. On return through Rockwell Green and the cirular route that takes in Ruggin Cross and eventuall back to Trull and eventually returning to the Weir. Not too challenging! The usual advice applies about dress, drinks, tubes and snacks.

Spring has sprung so it's time to get our bikes in tip-top condition and at maximum efficiency ready for the main riding season.
We'll be riding out to Graham's house at Stoke St. Gregory, but if your bike really is on its last legs and you're driving then please be at Graham's for 11:00. Lunch will be at the Willow and Wetland centre.
Please provide any parts you know will be needed (brake or gear cables, pads etc. tyres, tubes, or anything else. If you need help with that then please let me know via this web site.
If you're not sure how to deal with a puncture or how to check that your bike's working properly and safely then someone will be around to help you.
Please register (from the invitation EVENT DETAILS then GET TICKETS) so we can give warning about lunch numbers.

There will be a cycle bring and buy, so any cycling related items you don't need or want are welcome. Proceeds will go to this year's charity - our local food bank.

In 1801, 9 men were hung at Stonegallows, Bishops Hull. They travelled by horse and cart sat on top of their coffins. A memorial of the site still exists.
