Departing from the Viridor car park on Priory Bridge Road at 8.30 sharp.

You will need to book for this ride.  We will be using the club trailer. There are 10 places on the trailer and possibly more with people who have bike carriers, but if we're oversubscribed places WILL BE ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS, so please book early!!! (Last booking date is 28th June at 12:00)

We will be starting our ride from Barnstaple railway station car park (£2.30 for whole day) at 10.00 am.

We will make our way through the country lanes of N.Devon to join the Tarka Trail near Weare Giffard.

We will then stop for lunch at the Tea On The Train cafe at East The Water (Bideford) before continuing

through Instow, Fremington Quay and back to Barnstaple.

 

First half of the ride is pretty hilly with plenty of quite steep but mainly short climbs.

Second half is flat. Total distance 28 miles. We should be back in Taunton by about 5pm.
