The route out is Stoke St Mary, West Hatch, Hatch Beauchamp, Curry Mallet and Fivehead for coffee (11.15-11.30) Refreshed, up the short hill then to North Curry, Stoke St. Gregory, Stathe, Burrowbridge, Athelney, The Lemon Tree for lunch (1.30pm). The route back to Taunton is via North Curry down 13 bends to Creech St. Michael and Taunton. Most regular riders will be very familiar with the route
The route is undulating with a few steep hills. There will be adequate time if riders prefer to push their bike up the steep bits.
