A leisurely ride of around 35 miles to Burrowbridge for lunch at The King Alfred Pub. Route out will be Stoke St. Mary, Hatch Beauchamp and onto The Stables Cafe at Fivehead where we will have a morning coffee stop. Once refreshed our onward route will be North Curry, Huntham and Staithe onto Burrowbridge for lunch. Starting at Parchey Bridge, via Bawdrip, Cossington, Edington, Burtle, Blackford, Wedmore. Return via Theale, Westhay, Shapwick, Edington, Stawell to Parchey Bridge. Coffee stop options are in Wedmore and Westhay. Tea/coffee at the garden centre, return via Bradford-on-Tone, Hillfarrance, Allerford, Norton Fitzwarren.  Approx 24 miles, just under 1000 feet of elevation.  Bring the usual water, spare tube etc.  Meet at Coach 09.30.

This is a 30 mile hilly ride to Whelans Cafe. Starting and ending at Bishops Hull church.  Leader is Hazel  

Leisurely ride to Watchet with breaks en route at Bicknoller, lunch at Watchet Harbour and a break at Halse on return. About 47 miles & 825m ascent, hilly but nothing we haven't done before. I did it 3 years ago but cheated and caught the train back. FINAL DETAILS: Route out via Nailsbourne, bypassing Bishops Lydeard about 10 - 10:15, Crowcombe Heathfield, Heddon Oak, Bicknoller, Doniford & Watchet Harbour. Returning past St Decumans, Monksilver, Tolland, Halse & Oake. NOTE: Overgrown hedges and dirt on some narrow some lanes. Reflective jackets and/or lights recommended. Bring usual spare tube and water. Refreshment stops are few and far between. I have arranged with the following pubs to cater for us. Please let me know your requirements on so I can pre-order. 11:30 morning coffee & scone / cake break at Bicknoller Inn. Cost about £5. 15:30 afternoon tea & scone break at The New Inn Halse.
