A long challenging ride for the super fit, e-bikes or anyone who rode the C2C in May should manage this. We can factor in a short coffee stop at The Rocking Horse Stogumber, have lunch at The Old Ship Aground on Minehead Quay. We will have a guided tour around the lifeboat station and equipment by Dr John Higgie Minehead RNLI operations manger and medical officer at 14.00. The route includes some significant ascents and riding along the A39 where there is a narrow cycle path. I would expect to be back in Taunton by 18.00 at the latest.
