The Cycle Somerset Annual Meal

This event is open to current (Paid) members and their family.  It is however very popular and tickets sell out quickly which means, with numbers limited to 34, you do need to book asap.

This year the event will be held at the popular White Post Cafe, Langford Budville, which although closed to the general public in January is opening especially for us.  

To keep things simple there is a set menu - of five courses. There will be a vegetarian option. Should you want this you need to let us know when you book. 

Soft drinks etc can be bought on the night, however, if you want to have a glass of wine or similar with your meal you will need to bring your own as they do not have a licence to sell alcohol (glasses and corkscrews provided with no corkage fee!)

Payment, of £28 per head, in full is required at the point of booking or soon afterwards. If payment is not received by the end of December your place will be offered to someone else.

Payment can be made by cheque (made payable to Cycle Somerset) or by BACS. Account  details and address to send cheques will be provided in the email invite sent to Cycle Somerset Members.

The event starts at 7:30 and we will sit down to eat at 8pm.  

The menu is going to be a "Middle Eastern Feast" with the courses determined by what is available locally in January and it may therefore change slightly from what is detailed below.

• Mezze
• Slow cooked lamb with chickpeas,  (vegetarian alternative available)
• pistachio and rose cake with Greek yoghurt,  
• tea / coffee with little sweets.
