Using the website

Connect to website


1. 'Connect' your email address (blue box top right of screen of computer). 
2. Validate your email (check your inbox) 
3. 'login' (box top right of screen on pc). 
4. Please enter essential info especially your mobile phone + emergency contact name + 
emergency contact phone. Your address is also helpful in the event of an emergency. 
5. This profile info is added by clicking on your initials (or photo if added) or clicking schedule. 
(Both are found top right of website front page) 
6. You are now a 'contact' of Cycle Somerset. At this stage you may not receive emails or event 
notifications.
7. Now complete membership application form with the membership fee of £10. This will 
enable us to register you as a paid member and send details of events/ activities you might 
like to join

Events

EVENTS are posted under the events tab. Events do not show who is coming. They are used when 
numbers are restricted or need to be known.
1.Select an event and click on attend. 
2. Use +/- to change quantity from zero to one. 
3.Then click on checkout. This creates a free 'ticket' which is then emailed to you to 
confirm that you are registered for the activity – a bit like internet shopping. 
4.You may be asked for your mobile/ emergency contact and their phone. 
5.Numbers may be restricted so please let us know if you are wanting to attend.
PLEASE NOTE Members who register for an event are given priority. Those who 
turn up without booking may be asked to go on their own ride.


Cancelling a ticket


If you are not able to attend, please contact the ride leader using the link on the event 
details.
If you have no success, then you may leave a message by emailing the website (We can’t 
guarantee to get the message through especially if it is close to the event.)
